Stock Market Investing: Why Is The Market Continuing To Fall?

bear-market.jpgIn today’s stock market investing blog, I will discuss the current state of the market and try to address some questions as to the shaky nature of the market. This morning, stocks have continued to fall from yesterday’s major sell off. This is a bit perplexing because the gross domestic product was just reported to be higher than expected. Yesterday, the Dow Jones industrial fell a staggering four hundred points before rebounding for a loss of just over three hundred. Initially, the sell off was expected to continue, and it has, but why aren’t investors reacting positively to the good gross domestic product numbers?

The answer to that question is that there are many investors out there still a bit jittery over the whole sub prime market debacle. Some people are simply reacting to the sheer volume of the losses yesterday and are concerned that the market will continue to fall in a domino effect. The gross domestic products report was good news for the economy, and it is surprising to see the market continue to dip like it has. For updates on the state of the market, keep tuned to the stock market investing blog.
