Stock Market Investing: Dow slumps again.

oil2.jpgWelcome to the stock market investing blog. We appreciate our readers and hope that this blog is an asset to any person interested in investing in the stock market. We try to offer the best advice, news, tips, and information possible and hope that this will help you with your stock investing strategy. In today’s piece, I will discuss some of the things that are driving the direction of the market. We hope that you come back often to visit us at the stock market investing blog.

If this week was not hard enough, things just got a lot tougher for the stock market. The Dow Jones continues to plummet, housing sales have hit its lowest point since 1999, but perhaps the biggest concern is that oil futures have skyrocketed. Incredibly, the governments report on oil reserves was off, and there is even less oil than they thought. This shook investors and just added to their concern about the situation in Turkey and Iraq. Along with those headlines, it appears that Turkey has not bombed Kurdish rebels in Northern Iraq. This happens to be exactly where the pipelines lay. Hopefully this will come to a resolution soon.
