Google has decided to allow marketers to distribute their ads across the AdSense network, and has opened the door to a new type of marketing. This, however, will not be available to just anyone who posts to YouTube, but is designed for legitimate distributors. In fact, Google has already signed deals with TV Guide Broadband, Ford Models, and Expert Village to name a few. Considering the popularity of YouTube, this may be the next big gateway for advertisers to reach their customer base. The cost for these ads is uncertain at this time, but it will be interesting to see if it is competitive with TV, radio, and print advertising.
