Recently, Congress voted to ban internet taxes for another seven years. This was a widely popular move, and it came just in the nick of time. On Thursday, the old ban was set to expire and this would have allowed state and local governments to start taxing internet access. President Bush is expected to sign the bill because he actually believes that there should be a permanent ban on any internet tax. This is good news for all those e commerce gurus.
