Smart Marketing: Multicultural Marketing.

globe.jpgIn today’s smart marketing blog, I will discuss multicultural marketing. For anyone interested in selling a product or service, the smart marketing blog is for them. This piece is dedicated to marketing professionals and we hope to address all of your marketing needs. We will cover every aspect of business marketing, so if you have any kind of interest in this subject, you should tune into the blog frequently for updates on information, tips and advice. We wish you all the good luck to achieve your marketing goals.

For anyone out there who labors daily with marketing their product, there is always one question that they tend to ask themselves …. “Am I reaching my target audience?” Marketing for people of different cultures can be quite a challenge. Not every marketing tag that you currently use will appeal to a multinational audience. For this reason, it would be wise to do your research before launching your next campaign ad. Consider that they have a pop culture all of their own. Of course it is influenced by the West, but it will be unique none the less. If you consider this, you will likely do much better with your next marketing campaign.

Smart Marketing: Cheap technology.

laptop.jpgIn today’s smart marketing blog, I will discuss cheap technology that you can purchase for your marketing personnel. This piece is a dedicated blog that tries to offer advice and support for those in the business of marketing. We offer strategies for success as well as current news from the business world. We hope that our articles will give you some great ideas for your professional life. If you would like more information on this and other various subjects, please come back to the smart marketing blog early and often.

Technology is getting cheaper by the day. I just read an article about a company that was offering new laptops for only one hundred and ninety nine dollars. That is a terrific bargain, but the laptop may not be powerful enough for your business needs. If that is the case, you can try various sites like Dell computers. Dell has its own auction web site that will allow you to bid on computers that are new, used and refurbished. These computers go for really cheap prices and the company even throws in its standard warranty. Now you can equip your marketing personnel without having to break the bank.

Smart Marketing: TV vs. the Net.

net.jpgIn today’s smart marketing blog, I will be discussing some marketing ideas. The smart marketing piece is a periodical that discusses all issues concerning marketing, including strategies, ideas and the latest news. If you would like more information concerning this and other subjects, be sure to tune back into the smart marketing blog often.

There has been a saying that is going around lately …. television is dead. Well, that is not entirely correct, but the latest advents in technology surely are not providing any solutions to the dropping number of television viewers. This is because people can tune into many of their favorite programs on the net. Now with even more options on the net, including the new iPhone, PSP and other devices, the net is a modern highway carrying viewers to their favorite shows with the flip of a switch, or in this case, a click of the mouse. What does this mean for you? Well, cheaper advertising to begin with. Have you considered posting an ad on Youtube or MySpace? This is quickly becoming a big hit and now even presidential candidates are using these services to promote themselves.

Smart Marketing: Data Mining.

data-mining.jpgIn today’s smart marketing blog, I will discuss the importance of data mining for the business person. The smart marketing blog was specifically created with the business person in mind, and we offer tips and strategies that can help you in your professional life. For more information or ideas concerning marketing and other business concerns, check back at this blog periodically.

While doing some research on marketing ideas, I ran across an article on data mining. Data mining! Of course! I do not know why, but I have not covered this subject before. The article concerned a partnership between the government, or more specifically, the Department of Homeland Security and Kansas State University. The data mining project was designed to improve the methods the Department of Homeland Security now uses in tracking terrorist subjects, but it gave me an idea. Businesses need effective data mining to track down the tendencies of their target audience, especially if the company offers specific retail items that will sell to a limited audience. Data mining could help track down these potential clients and put the retail seller and the customer together. Check back in the days to follow for more information on data mining.

Smart Marketing: Marketing Yourself.

selling2.jpgIn today’s smart marketing blog, I will discuss how to market your product by marketing yourself.

For any business person to become successful and remain that way, you must be able to market whatever your product you may be selling. Because of this, it is not hard to see that you are, in essence, marketing yourself. Your potential customers will only be as interested in your product as you are, so your attitude about yourself is critical to reach them. Obviously, how well you are groomed and dressed will go a long way to convincing someone that what you have to offer is legitimate. You will also want to avoid using any type of slang or coarse jokes. This may attract a limited few number of people, but for the majority of professionals, this is not an attractive quality at all. Keep in touch with your clients even when you are not trying to sell them something. You need to cultivate relationships in order to have any form of long term success, and by keeping in touch with your customers, you are showing them that you are not just concerned with their finances. For more information on smart marketing tips, check back at this blog frequently.

Smart Marketing: Podcasting Part 2

podcast2.jpgIn today’s smart marketing blog, I will continue the two part series on podcast marketing. The series is written to give web based businesses marketing ideas to get their companies off the ground.

In the first part of this blog, I talked about how search engines really changed the face of he internet and forced web business owners to become technologically savvy in order to remain in competition. Much of this is based on search engine optimization. Well now there is another way to attack this problem. Podcasting is basically an audio file that is posted directly to your website. You can use this so your viewers can listen to you talk about your products and services without having to sift through countless pages of content. The added benefit is that podcasting, if done correctly, can also help greatly improve your rankings in the search engines. The results are quite stunning and there are specific steps that you need to take in order to achieve the desired results. You should consider podcasting for your web business. Try finding a company that specializes in this for help. For more information on smart marketing, check back at this blog periodically.

Smart Marketing: Podcasting.

podcast.jpgIn today’s smart marketing blog, I will start a two part series on the importance of podcasting for web based businesses. The second portion of the blog will be posted tomorrow.

For many web based business owners, marketing remains key to their mind. Before the advent of search engines, the internet was like the Wild West. It was a vast new frontier that allowed small and large business owners alike to exploit so they could take their place on the global market stage. That all changed when search engines like Google, Yahoo & MSN started coming out. These companies really weeded out a lot of online businesses because they determined which sites would become visible to the public.

Because of this, web based business owners had to become much more technologically savvy in order to compete. Soon companies were forced to either purchase pay per click advertising, or hiring webmasters who understood what it would take to make sure their website was listed on the first page of a web engine query. Soon, terms like Search Engine Optimization became part of the internet vocabulary. These methods use keywords and content to ensure successful search engine results. Today, this is simply not enough to maintain your good ranking. In tomorrows smart marketing blog, I will finish this piece on podcasting.

Smart Marketing: Affordable Ways to Advertise.

marketing.jpgIn today’s smart marketing blog, I will discuss some affordable ways to advertise. Are you a real estate agent looking to make your face familiar with the public? What if you are a business consultant and need to build up your client base? Where should you invest your hard earned money that will not stretch your advertising budget to its limits? There are many ways to get your name or product out to the public, but many of these can be quite expensive. There is always television, but this is perhaps the most expensive venture of all of them.

Radio advertising is cheaper, and actually not a bad idea, but the bottom line is that it will take some funding to do. In addition, your top choice of radio station may be too expensive for your budget. Newspaper ads and flyers are largely ignored and the phone book may not be a wise choice if you have heavy competition in your sector. Because of this, why not volunteer to do public speaking? You can present your face to the community as a professional and expert in your field and the only thing it will cost you is your time. The VFW, PTA and American Legion are only a few venues that may be available to you. For more ideas about smart marketing, check back at our blog periodically.
