Political issues can affect investment opportunties. In the event of war, violence or even natural disasters it is a time to hold on and ride the tide.
Jumping ship because of uncertainty is what normally causes stock losses during stressful political or disaster times. People either want to liquidate to have cash, or they assume they should move their money because traditionally stocks lose.
The Israeli stock market plunged on Wednesday on word that two more Israeli soldiers were captured, and that Israel, already embroiled in a military offensive against Palestinian militants in Gaza, was getting entangled in a second front against Lebanese guerrillas.
Don’t make rash decisions with your stocks during these times. Make wise choices balanced with good professional advice from a wealth coach.
