Although you may not realize it, Atlanta Georgia is a prime commercial and residential real estate market. A recent article in the Atlanta Business Chronicles announced that many of the key towering buildings that make up the city’s skyline are now on the market.
It is a very strong market; it’s a very active market. There is more capital focused on commercial investments today than I think there ever has been. And that’s a pretty bold statement from a standpoint of "ever"; that’s a long time. But the capital flows do not seem to be ebbing at all. If anything, I’ve seen more capital coming into the market even as pricing gets to levels that people are questioning. Some people are questioning where the pricing is in the market. From a risk-adjusted return basis, it’s still the best place to be for a lot of these investors who have a lot of capital to put out there right now.
