Your debt may be piling up, but is debt consolidation the only way out?  Hopefully you can find a better way to pay down your debts.

While paying them off and having one bill is attractive, with interest rates rising, you don’t want to pay for the privilege of paying your bills.  Is making them a little smaller really worth the interest and added length of time?

While it’s much better than defaulting or being constantly late, debt consolidation shouldn’t be your first choice.
