There are 2 important things to remember when email marketing. First don’t spam. Second, choose the appropriate format.
Spam
No business will profit from spam. Sure, you may make a quick buck selling swill through email, but longterm, this model will not work. Spam can be compared to kitty litter. There’s ever so much of it, and all it ever collects is waste.
Format
Use an email delivery firm that can send email using a system that knows whether or not to send HTML or plain text. Otherwise you’ll pay for sends to people who can’t read your email.
Watch your conversion rate and you may find that bulk email marketing is not worth your time.
