Marketing Mission

marketing tipsTraveling the marketing world can be an overwhelming place without a clear direction and vision.

As we’ve discussed before, your vision is where you want to be; today, mission is how you really want to get there.

A mission is simple:  stick to the task at all costs.  This may not be the ‘best’ definition, but for our direction, it will work just fine.

Your mission is critical for several reasons:

  • It’s your vehicle for branding.
  • It creates cohesiveness in your organization.
  • It puts all the team on the same field.
  • It levels the competition by staying the course and not going with the wind.

Failure to direct your mission effectively will cost you money in marketing as well as time that you will never recover putting out fires and changing direction.
