eBay Sharking

When using eBay as your ecommerce solution you can be sure to find a great deal on eBay every day. The only drawback is losing the bid by a few dollars. Here are a few tips to help you in your sharking.
- While an auction is active, only bid a minimum bid on any auction that you are interested in. This will allow you to get daily updates on the bid.
- Don’t worry if you aren’t the high bidder, don’t keep making bids, just leave it alone and pay attention.
- Within the final hour to half hour of the auction, open two browser windows, sign in and open the bidding option in one window and the home page of the item in the other.
- When the auction has about five minutes remaining, decide your top bid and place it… then begin to refresh every 30 seconds or so.
- If you see that you have lost the bid, rebid quickly and refresh. There are seldom times that you will lose the auction with this method.
Do your homework and do NOT shark on an auction that you haven’t watched and read all the fine print. In your early days of sharking you can find yourself buying something that is junk.
Another helpful tip is to not bid on more than one auction for the same item. I have won several before and had to buy them.
