Online Credit Card Help

credit card tips

With all the choices of credit card providers how do you know which one you should use?  As you know owing money is the opposite of saving and building wealth, so unless you desire to use your credit card for specific and managed purposes, refrain from getting one.

If you have made up your mind to obtain a card there are hundreds of things that you should think about.  What is the annual percentage rate, how are the finance charges calculated, is there a membership or annual fee, does the card have a ‘two-cycle balance calculation"?

The list goes on…

The Federal Trade Commission has some great information about all these questions and more on their site.  For instance, did you know that it was illegal for a company to just send you a card ‘pre-approved’ in the mail?

Federal law prohibits issuers from sending you a card you didn’t ask for. However, an issuer can send you a renewal or substitute card without your request. Issuers also may send you an application or a solicitation, or ask you by phone if you want a card - and, if you say yes, they may send you one.

Check out www.ftc.gov and peruse their credit card information.  They have valuable information that can save you some heart ache.

If you are in need of debt assistance, call on a personal wealth coach who can answer your toughest questions about eliminating debt and building wealth.
