Clear Goals Develop Marketing

Sitting with a team and thinking about how you could take your company to a branding position through a marketing campaign can be very exciting.

As a matter of fact, the ideas could flow and be so incredible that you are an hour or two away from unseating Microsoft’s control of the world technology industry.

Once you launch your campaign you then realize it doesn’t have the punch that you thought it would and you then discover that your marketing strategy doesn’t fall in line with your overall vision.

Remember that VISION is where you want to be, not what you do or how you do it.  Every organization has a vision or least it had one in the beginning.

In order to create an effective and successful marketing campaign it must be built around the TOTAL vision and ‘dream’ of the business owners.

The first step in aligning these two areas of development is to WRITE vision down.  Nothing will ever get done out of thinking and talking, but a well written focused statement will get the ball rolling and keep it rolling straight.

Once that is accomplished begin to think about your marketing in line with the vision.  How can you get the message of your vision to the public and what will it take to make it effective in getting potential clients.

The bottom line is that where there is no vision, people perish.  And so do companies…  Take some time out with your team and organize your vision so that you and all your staff will be able to cast it effectively no matter what role they play in your organization.
