without having adequate backups of your computer systems.

If a hard drive
fails you could find yourself in the dark on clients, orders, and finances. 
Many people do not use any system to back-up their data because they don’t see
the need or they don’t think they will experience a loss.

Here are some
affordable ways to ensure your data is safe:

  • Organize your files on your computer to be in ONE location.  This will help
    you in your backup process.
  • Identify key files like your financial backups or email backups so that you
    can make sure they are saved during a backup.
  • Purchase an external hard drive.  This is the most affordable way to do
    backups effectively.  They can be set to backup daily.
  • Purchase an online backup service.  This is good but can be costly and if
    your internet is slow or down, you won’t have access.
  • You can also purchase one to four gig jump or flash drives and back up your
    files to those in a pinch.  However, they can be lost or damaged
    easily.

Being an online business owner is stressful enough.  Don’t add
the fear of having all of your critical data gone in a second.
