volunteer marketing
When you think of marketing you probably don’t think much about how your
community involvement impacts buying decisions.

Studies have shown that
business owners who are active in the community have more local business than
competitors who are not in the public eye.  What makes this possible?

  1. Just being noticed.  It just like your ads, you want people to see and hear
    them.  Well YOU are your biggest advertising.  People will begin to notice your
    exposure to your community, especially in a non-profit or charity
    organization.
  2. Doing good makes people trust you.  Not that you should volunteer locally so
    that you can gain trust, but know that when you do, your community will give you
    more trust than before; it’s just the way people think.
  3. WOMA - Word of mouth advertising - people everywhere will begin to actually
    talk about you and the fact that you take the time out of running your company
    to give of yourself.  It works and I’ve heard it!

Get outside the
office, put on your volunteering shoes and make strides in your public image. 
Market smarter, not harder!
