Wouldn’t it be great if you could get 50% of your business needs met for free? 
Well, free isn’t probably going to happen, but with bartering, you could obtain
your needs for the cost of inventory or services.

For hundreds of years,
bartering has been an effective business practice.  Only until recently have we
moved away from this creative activity.

The truth about bartering is that
most people are willing and able to offer and accept it as a viable business
practice.  Bartering basically allows you to offer a good or service in exchange
for another good or service.  The main reason people don’t barter is because
they are afraid to ask.

A few months ago I was in need of some emergency
plumbing services.  After the service arrived, I spent time while they made the
repairs.  During the course of our conversation I discovered that the owner of
the company was interested in some marketing advice as well as in need of some
drain pipe; both of which I had to give.

I offered the pipe and the
advice in exchange for the professional service and a deal was sealed.  This
particular deal allowed me to save from coming out of pocket around $500 and
only cost me two hours of my time.

Bartering has and should always be an
option.  Don’t be afraid to ask, just be sure you are fair with your offer and
you will find amazing deals in material and professional needs that will save you money to invest back in your ecommerce business.  The sky is the
limit!
